ESRB trouble

Angry (and clueless) parents and congressman say Rockstar and Bethesda have been giving "trash" to the youth of America. First off, for Hot Coffee, you had to either download a mod off the internet (a personal choice), or you had to go out and buy Max Action Replay and enter the code. The game San Andreas is rated M, for 17 or older. So parents let kids buy the equivelant of an R rated movie, THEN they complain when there is sex. Oooooooooook. The other case, involving the game Oblivion, is where a modder found a nude art skin in the data files. By going into the data, he broke the end user agreement, which doesn't allow you to modify the game. Again, you had to download a mod. The ESRB is a lot more strict than the MPAA. The majority of gamers is over 18! Congress obviously has no knowledge of games, but will do what their voters, the parents, want.

MySpace Trouble

Lately there has been some news about a guy molesting teens off of myspace.com. First of all, you have to be over 14 to sign up. You are pretty much asking for it if you put your profile on the site. You are REQUIRED to put your address, name(first and last), and email address. But otherwise, its an ok site for meeting people.

China censoring Google

Recently China made Google censor out people's ability to search for words detrimental to the government. Come on, where's the free speech? Oh well, every one can't be like America

On Wiretapping

Ok, Bush has done it again. As you've probably heard, Bush has been wiretapping without a warrant. During the hearings on this topic, the attorney general refuses to comment on the subject. What's the point of having hearings on it if he won't answer questions! Oh yeah, I think wiretapping is illegal, unconstitutional, and Bush should be punished.( Or should I say Dick Cheney, since Bush can't be that smart.)

In case you haven't heard the news lately, Dick Cheney shot someone with a shotgun by accident on a hunting trip. Now here's the weird part. HE DIDN"T TALK TO POLICE FOR 24 HOURS! Only logical explanation? HE WAS DRUNK! It takes 24 hours for alcohal to get out of the system. CONSPIRICY PEOPLE!
